Terms and conditions

The short version

Connectary connects marketing accounts to your AI assistant and, through GEO Monitor, tracks how AI answer engines talk about tracked sites. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. We’ve kept them in plain English; using the service still means agreeing to all of them, not just the friendly summary.

What the service is

Connectary provides a hosted connector that lets an AI assistant you control read data from marketing accounts you connect, and — on plans that enable it — make specific changes that you explicitly confirm first. GEO Monitor collects and reports how AI answer engines respond to approved questions about sites you track. We may add, change, or retire features as the products evolve.

Your account

You need an account and a workspace (organization) to use the service. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself; you’re responsible for what happens through your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the service — it isn’t directed at children.

The accounts you connect

When you connect a marketing account — yours or a client’s — you promise that you’re authorized to connect it and to let Connectary read it on your behalf. If you manage accounts for clients, staying authorized by those clients is your responsibility. The platforms you connect (Google, Meta, and the rest) have their own terms, and your use of them through Connectary must follow those terms too. If a platform changes or shuts off an API, the connected features can stop working; we’ll do our best to adapt, but we don’t control them.

Plans, trials, and billing

Every plan starts with a free trial, no card required. Billing starts only after your trial, and we set it up with you. Subscriptions bill through Stripe on a recurring basis for the plan you chose. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don’t give partial-month refunds unless the law where you live requires it. Prices and plan limits can change; if they change for a plan you’re on, we’ll tell you before your next renewal.

Fair use

Don’t use the service to:

• connect accounts you aren’t authorized to access;
• break the law, or the terms of the platforms you connect;
• probe, overload, or interfere with the service or other customers;
• resell access to the service itself without an agreement with us;
• mislead anyone with data from the service — including presenting example or fictional data as real results.

We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules. We’ll warn you first when that’s reasonable; for something that harms other customers or the platforms we connect to, we may have to act immediately.

Data, answers, and honesty about limits

The numbers the connector returns come from the platforms you connected, and the AI-visibility observations in GEO Monitor come from sampling public AI answers at points in time. Both can lag, change, or contain platform-side errors, and AI answer engines change their answers constantly. The service is a tool to inform your decisions — it isn’t a guarantee of rankings, citations, traffic, or revenue, and it isn’t professional advice. Answers your AI assistant generates from the data are the assistant’s output, not ours.

Availability

We work to keep the service up and safe, and changes that touch your connected accounts always require your confirmation. Still, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We may take the service down briefly for maintenance and will keep disruption as small as we can.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows: Connectary isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost data, or lost business — arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited under the law where you live.

Ending things

You can stop using the service and cancel at any time. When your account closes — by you or by us — we disconnect your accounts and delete your workspace data as described in the privacy policy. Sections that by their nature should survive (like the liability limits) survive the end of these terms.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as the service evolves; we’ll update the date at the top, and a meaningful change gets an email to account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
