What this page covers

This policy covers everything Connectary runs: this website (connectary.ai), the Connectary connector you add to your AI assistant, and GEO Monitor. We’ve written it in plain English on purpose. If anything is unclear, email us and a person will answer.

On this website

This site does not run analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies. We don’t build a profile of visitors. The only data this site collects is what you type into the trial-request form: your name, company, work email, website, the platforms you’re interested in, your approximate client count, and any optional message. Form submissions are emailed to our team through Forward Email (our email provider) so we can set up your workspace and reply. We don’t sell or rent that information, and we don’t use it for anything beyond responding to you.

Your account

Sign-in for Connectary and GEO Monitor is handled by Clerk, our authentication provider. Clerk processes your name, email address, and workspace (organization) membership, and sets the cookies needed to keep you signed in on our app domains. Payments are processed by Stripe. Connectary never sees or stores your card number — we receive only what we need to run your subscription, like which plan you’re on and whether payment succeeded.

Your clients’ marketing data

When you connect marketing accounts (Google Analytics, Search Console, ads platforms, and the rest), Connectary reads them only in response to a request you make through your AI assistant, in your own conversation. Nothing is scraped, indexed, or pulled on a schedule in the background. Credentials are encrypted at rest and sealed to your own workspace — one customer’s workspace can never reach another’s connected accounts. Answers are returned to the AI assistant you connected; what that assistant does with them is governed by its provider’s terms, not ours.

Changing anything in a connected account is off by default. Where a plan enables changes, every change is drafted first and requires an explicit confirmation before anything goes live.

GEO Monitor

GEO Monitor works differently from the connector: it collects on a schedule, not on request. For each site you track, it asks AI answer engines the questions you approved and records what the public answers say — which businesses get named and which sources get cited. That collection happens through DataForSEO, a data provider. The material collected is about public web answers, not about you or your visitors; it is stored in your workspace, isolated from every other customer’s.

Who processes data for us

We use a small set of service providers to run Connectary: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Vercel and Railway (hosting), Forward Email (email), and DataForSEO (GEO Monitor collection). Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We don’t sell personal information to anyone.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your account and workspace data while your account is active. If you cancel, or if you ask us to, we’ll disconnect your accounts and delete your workspace data — email us and we’ll confirm when it’s done. You can also revoke Connectary’s access yourself at any time by removing the connector in your AI assistant’s settings and revoking access in the connected platforms.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@connectary.ai and we’ll respond — no forms, no runaround.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. A meaningful change gets an email to account holders, not a silent edit.
